Position Overview
Overton ISD is seeking a caring, dependable, and student-focused Pre-K Instructional Aide to support early childhood learning. This position works closely with the classroom teacher to provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that promotes student growth and development.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist the teacher with daily classroom instruction and activities
- Support students with learning tasks, routines, and transitions
- Help prepare instructional materials and maintain classroom organization
- Monitor and supervise students in the classroom, cafeteria, and playground
- Foster positive relationships with students and contribute to a supportive learning environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
- Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with early learners
